visas / travel to events in Europe

Hi all,

Which countries are easier for Kosovans to visit for events?

I've heard Italy and Greece are easier than Germany or Switzerland. Are
there other comments people could make?

How about the UK visa, has anybody had any experience with that?

Has anybody been to DUCC (Italy) in the past? If the Italian visa is
not so much trouble, would anybody want to try and go to the next DUCC?

Correct about Greece, not sure about Italy.

Hungary is also easy but there is a long wait time.

UK is no fuss but not sure how stringent they are.

Swiss Embassy covers Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg so they are equally hard.

It depends on timing, but consistently it is a month long endeavour!

UK visa is probably more costly with fee, insurance and other expences it adds up about 150euro per visa per person for six months; but more consistent.

The timeframe about 4 to 6 weeks!

Dear all,

I’ve got an UK visa last year… this is how it works: after completing the online application, UK Embassy send our passports in Poland (by post) that’s why it takes about 4-6 weeks to get back an answer (as Shpend mentioned). Overall costs (visa & insurances) are higher but, consider that if you get a positive answer you will get the visa at least for 6 months. If you have a proper documents needed and time to apply for it, consider also that you can find cheaper flights with Wizzair from Skopje to London (about 80$ return ticket).

As per the Italian(schengen) Visa, I’ve got one for 2 yrs and I think they are flexible also if you have a requested documents.

Should you need any help on procedures, preparing any documents, invitations or anything else, please feel free to contact me.

All the best,
