Hi FLOSSK-ies,
Just wanted to share this event happening at Prishtina Hackerspace on December.
Our friend from Bevuta.com, Moritz Heidkamp will be holding a presentation about Clojure on December 1st starting from 6:00PM at Prishtina Hackerspace.
Clojure is a rather young (first released in 2007) functional programming language of the Lisp family. It currently runs on the JVM, the CLR and JavaScript-VMs with more target platforms to come.
In this presentation Moritz is going to highlight some of the Clojure’s
core features, strengths and weaknesses, as well as what being a “Lisp”
means and why it matters.
He will also try to give a general idea of how functional programming differs from imperative and object-oriented programming and why you might care about it.
No need for registration to attend this event - everyone is welcome!
