Pershendetje,

FLOSSK është drejtuar në bazë të statutit të miratuar në vitin 2009 në themelim. Është koha për të shqyrtuar atë për të zbatuar mësimet e nxjerra.

Fillova të bëj disa ndryshime në gjuhën angleze për të adoptuar sugjerimet e Mike dhe disa çështje që unë kam vënë re. Mirëpriteni të bëni ndryshime të tjera në anglisht ose shqip. Unë do t’i bëj në sinkronizim përkthimet më vonë. Ndryshinmet duhet të miratohet nga 2/3 e anëtarëve.

Shpresoj ta kryejme kete proces gjatë dhjetorit. Deri atëherë duhet të definojmë anëtarësinë, që përcakton edhe të drejtën për të votuar në këtë.

FLOSSK has been running under the statute as adopted in 2009 at founding. It’s time to review it to implement the lessons learned.

I started making changes in English to adopt what Mike suggested and some issues I noticed. You are welcome to make other changes in English or Albanian. I will bring them in line later. They would have to be adopted by 2/3 of Members.

I hope to complete this process by end of December. Until then we have to define membership, which establishes the right to vote on this.

I have a comment on 4.2:

4.2 Members will pay a nominal 1 EUR fee a year. Assembly of members will decide whether to require a higher payment from members. Failure to pay the membership fee, after written notice, will serve as a basis to exclude a member from the organization.

I totally agree on this. I pity the fact when non-active members suddenly show up in an assembly, give their vote, drastically change stuff for worse and then leave and never come back again - not fair at all!

We have to take a closer look into this when it comes to using the word “pay” in regard to our NGO status, this will be considered commercial when dealing with ATK stuff, and they’ll make us pay taxes. How do we make it to be considered as a donation instead…
